Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are used to competing against each other on The Voice. They also spend a lot of time together off the show given they’ve been dating for years.

Gwen Stefani won the Fashion Icon Award
Stefani has certainly been noticed for her fashion for decades now. She also branched out from music to designing clothes with her fashion lines L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers. She was awarded the Fashion Icon award at this year’s People’s Choice Awards.
“Blake Shelton, look! Icon wow, this is hard to digest,” she said according to Music News. “I always, always loved fashion. It was one of those very instinctual things, I think probably because of my mom … My mom would come home from school and my grandmother would have her made her prom dress. It was always there, so the fact that this is happening right now is hard to imagine because it’s just what I do. I love fashion!”
Stefani gave a shout out to her son. “I’m going to give this to Zuma anyway, I love you guys.”
The singer also mentioned her boyfriend in her speech again. She said, “You inspire me all the time I love you, Blake Shelton. You’re a babe.”
She also shared a video on Instagram about her award. She wrote in the caption, “I’m so grateful @peopleschoice!!! Thx for such an incredible evening gx.”
Blake Shelton won Country Artist of 2019
Stefani wasn’t the only one to bring home an award that night to their home. Shelton won Country Artist of 2019.
He gave a shout out to Stefani during his speech. “I love the sh*t out of you,” he said on stage according to Yahoo!.
Of course, he had to make a joke too. “I’m really glad I won this because I was the only person at my table who hasn’t won anything tonight and it was starting to get a little bit embarrassing,” he said. The country singer then added, “Zendaya was making fun of me earlier.”

The couple is somewhat used to being in the public eye since they got together. That’s because they have worked on The Voice together after becoming a couple.
Stefani still said that walking the red carpet together scares her. “It scares me on the red carpet with Blake because he never does the red carpet,” she told E! News. “I think we’ve only done like three.”
She then added, “It’s just not his thing.” The reality show coach went back to his roots as being the reason for that. “Oklahoma guy. He’s the real deal. Talk about real,” she said. The couple still looked good together on the carpet and had some sweet things to say about each other on stage.
