Bravo's Andy Cohen 'Hosts' the Best Reunion Ever With Son Benjamin - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Bravo producer Andy Cohen finally reunited with son Benjamin after being self-quarantined when he tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Cohen shared a touching photo on Instagram. “I’ve hosted reunions for years, but yesterday’s was the best one yet. ♥️” Ben touches his father in the photo as Cohen looks nothing short of delighted.

It was a total “I’m not crying, you’re crying” moment as fans and Bravolebs reacted. “Frame this one for sure πŸ˜πŸ’•,” Kate Chastain from Below Deck wrote. Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey added, “Glad your better Andy πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ❤️.”

Plus Tyler Cameron from The Bachelorette commented, “This is amazing. So glad you are better!”

Being away from his son was the hardest part of being sick

Cohen announced on March 20 that he tested positive for coronavirus. “After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus.  As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.  I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”

Being sick meant that he had to be away from his son. He told Jeff Lewis on his Sirius XM show being separated from Benjamin was the hardest part about dealing with the virus. “I’ll tell you what I know from the nanny cam and from video, because I can’t see him, which is the very worst part,” he said.

Thankfully, Benjamin and his nanny were doing well. “But he’s great and his nanny [tested] negative,” he added. Cohen said he was at home and was “not letting anyone into my home.” Adding, “I’m just here with the nanny and Ben and we are hunkered down. We have enough food for two weeks.”

He hosted ‘WWHL’ from home

Cohen looked healthy and rested when he hosted the first Watch What Happens Live from Home on Monday night. Guests Nene Leakes, Lisa Rinna, and Jerry O’Connell joined him remotely. And while the layout was different, the vibe was just as playful and fun.

He also thanked fans for wishing him well while he recovered. “I first want to say, I’ve been so touched by the sweet messages I’ve gotten from all of you, I wanna thank you all so much,” he emphasized. “I am feeling a lot better and I am so eager to just get back to doing what we do best here at Watch What Happens Live.” Adding, “Which is to put on a show to make you smile at the end of the day.”

Cohen parked a glass of rosΓ© wine at his desk. And he even remarked how his home office was designed to resemble the WWHL set. He also has a disco ball hanging near his desk. The show’s format was playful and light. Cohen tried to keep it true to the same format fans normally see. Along with a sweet “Mazel” from Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, who offered a message of hope.
