K-pop group Monsta X dropped new album ‘Fatal Love’ on November 2nd, and fans are obsessed with one particular line in their lead single, ‘Love Killa’.
The six member boy group celebrated their latest release with their first YouTube live countdown. This marks their first studio album without ex-member Wonho, since his departure in October 2019.
Now, the words on everyones lips is “I want you to eat me like a main dish”.

The music video is the perfect Halloween release as it seems to have gained some inspiration from horror film classics: Kihyun plays Hannibal Lecter, Hyungwon recreates Fight Club, while Minhyuk acts as American Psycho. The opening scene sees Jooheon portraying the Joker’s bank robbery scene from 2008 film, The Dark Knight.
The song revolves describing a love that is cruel yet beautiful, where the members are all (love) killers.
Fans react to I.M’s “eat me like a main dish” lyric
There is one particular thing that Monbebe’s, the fandom, are raving about: main rapper I.M’s line, “I want you to eat me like a main dish”. The fans are mesmerised by his deadly stare as he raps those ‘NSFW’ lyrics to them, so it is undoubtedly why ‘Lovekilla’ and ‘Changkyun’, the idol’s real name, are trending on Twitter.
On top of that, the lyrics have caused a buzz as it is uncommon for K-pop songs to have such sexual innuendos.
