“It is not necessary to be “athletic” to exercise. I would definitely consider myself “not athletic”. I rarely exercised until my mid 40s. I started out with Couch to 5K (C25K), and could walk and could not jog from one light post to the next. Since then I have run countless 5K, 10K, and a few marathons. Set a goal for a 10 minute walk twice a week and work up from there. Have a plan for when it is too rainy, hot, cold etc. It is never too late to start and you will feel the difference in energy and health.”
