aespa Sets Career High After Surpassing 1 Million Stock Pre-Orders With “Girls” - soompi

aespa is set to become million sellers with their upcoming mini album “Girls”!

According to aespa’s agency SM Entertainment, as of June 9, aespa’s upcoming second mini album “Girls” had already surpassed 1 million stock pre-orders.

The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.

Although only one week has passed since pre-orders first opened, this marks an impressive new career high pre-order count for the group, and there are still a few weeks to go until “Girls” officially drops.

Earlier this month, SM Entertainment announced that aespa had established a global partnership with Warner Records and that on June 24, they would pre-release their English-language single “Life’s Too Short,” which they first revealed during their performance at Coachella in April.

In addition to this announcement, aespa amped up the excitement for “Girls” with the surprise release of b-side “Illusion” as the group was named Apple Music’s “Up Next” artist for June.
