Adam Levine Addresses His Super Bowl Halftime Haters on Instagram - Cosmopolitan.com

After giving one of the most vanilla performances in Super Bowl halftime history, Adam Levine took to Instagram to address the haters in a very long and very random post.

He wrote this shady caption next to two photos of the words that were written in the sky during the performance.

"When we accepted the responsibility to perform at the SBHTS, I took out my pen and just wrote. Some of the words that came to me in that moment eventually made their way onto the incredible lanterns that flew high and low tonight," it read.

"We thank the universe for this historic opportunity to play on the world’s biggest stage. We thank our fans for making our dreams possible. And we thank our critics for always pushing us to do better. One Love. ❤️"

After "thanking his critics," (which, LOL) he listed all the words he wrote down, and some of them make total sense, but others are just... completely random.

For example, "smile," "live," and "remember" fall into the "normal reactions to performing the SBHTS" category. But "sweat," and "fight," maybe not so much. Or like... "climb." Was there a rock wall that I didn't see up on that stage or something?
