Try to contain your excitement because Janet Jackson is getting her very own Las Vegas Residency!

The musical icon will be launching her first residency this upcoming summer and fans cannot wait for tickets to go on sale.

Here’s is everything we know about the three-month long event kicking off in May 2019.

The event will showcase her personal life and career

On February 26, Janet Jackson revealed that she will be launching her very first Las Vegas Residency.

Jackson will be performing at Park MGM’s Park Theater in Las Vegas for three months beginning in May.

The show will be called Metamorphosis and Janet Jackson has promised to showcase many aspects of her life that led her to fame.

According to a press release, it states, “Metamorphosis peels back the layers of the immensely private life of Janet Jackson, sharing her transformation from a young girl with issues of self-esteem to global icon. The centerpiece of this all-new thought-provoking show will be Janet herself, captivating you through your senses with electrifying visuals, explosive dance numbers, chart-topping hits and fan favorite deep cuts.”

“The show also features a special 30-year anniversary celebration of her ground-breaking album ‘Rhythm Nation.’ Fans will follow her path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges faced along her personal journey. She encourages her audiences to find their own light within themselves through her Metamorphosis.”

If this doesn’t encourage fans to buy tickets as soon as possible, we don’t know what will.

Janet Jackson is known for putting on captivating performances and we expect this show to not be any different.

Tickets are going on sale very soon

In a recent Instagram post, Janet Jackson shared how excited she is to begin her Las Vegas residency. She also shared details of when tickets will go on sale.

According to the post, Citi cardholders will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning at 12:00 pm PST on February 27, 2019.

For the general public, tickets will go on sale at 10:00 am PST on March 2, 2019.

Tickets will start at $79 and will be available on Ticketmaster.

As for the dates, Janet Jackson is set to perform 15 shows throughout May, July, and August.

Check out the dates below:

May 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 25th, and 26th.

July 24th, 26th, 27th, and 31st.

August 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th, and 10th.

This only leaves fans with a few chances to see Janet Jackson’s first ever Las Vegas Residency. WHich means tickets will most likely go quick.

The youngest member of the iconic Jackson family is getting added to the list of great musicians who had Las Vegas Residencies.
