Meghan Markle is in her final trimester of pregnancy, and the Duchess of Sussex still looks perfect. The former Hollywood actress has glowing skin, silky hair, and her fashion choices have never looked more elegant. With royal tours and numerous royal events and engagements –Markle (who is still rocking stilettos) and her adorable baby bump haven’t missed a beat.

Recently, while he and the duchess were attending the Endeavour Fund Awards —Prince Harry commented on the size of his unborn child. The red-headed prince quipped while looking at his stunning wife, “there’s a heavy baby in her.” It sounds like Baby Sussex is getting all of the nutrients that he or she needs, and they are healthy and right on schedule.

When is Meghan Markle’s due date?

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first announced they were expecting their first child –Kensington Palace was pretty vague about Markle’s due date. Initially, the public was simply told that the duchess was due in Spring 2019.

Recently, the Suits alum gave us a clearer indication of her due date. In Jan. 2019 during her first royal event of the year, Markle confirmed that would give birth in late April or early May. It looks like the duchess is already super excited. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, royal biographer Katie Nicholl revealed, “She has told friends that this is the most exciting [time], the happiest period in her life. I’m told that she is upbeat and that she is happy.”

Are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry prepared for their baby’s arrival?

With the final touches on their new home Frogmore House well underway for a March 2019 move-in date –it looks like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are all ready for their little one’s arrival. They recently adopted a puppy, so they’re in total parent-mode. Endeavour Fund Awards host Ross Kemp spoke with the royal couple about their new labrador puppy. He told reporters, “We talked about how they’ve got a puppy and we got a puppy before we had our first boy. It’s a preparation for nappy changing and popping basically.”

Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle know their baby’s gender?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have opted not to find out their baby’s gender, so it will be a total surprise to them when the duchess gives birth in April or May. This is probably for the best because it’s a massive royal no-no to reveal a gender before a baby is born.

The public will find out if Baby Sussex is a boy or a girl when Queen Elizabeth formally announces the little one’s birth. According to Katie Nicholl, the duke and duchess have opted for a gender-neutral nursery. She told Entertainment Tonight, “[A]ccording to sources who are helping with [their new home] renovations, the nursery itself is going to be very modern. Don’t expect to see any baby pink or baby blue. Apparently, it’s going to be a monochrome palette-whites and grays, I’m told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex’s nursery.”
