Chen of K-pop boy band EXO, who had a daughter in April, made a surprise appearance on SBS's "Inkigayo" on Sunday to celebrate bandmate Baekhyun's music show win.

Sporting a black beanie and a yellow shirt, Chen climbed on to the stage with other EXO members ― Sehun, Kai and Chanyeol ― when Baekhyun was playing an encore gig of his latest solo track "Candy." The members celebrated Baekhyun being crowned this week's winner with his May release.

EXO's lead vocalist Chen, 27, has virtually been out of the public eye since he announced his marriage with his girlfriend in January. Some fans demanded Chen's expulsion from the band, insisting his marriage could "tarnish" EXO's image. But SM Entertainment ― home to the nine-piece band ― said Chen would not leave.

Chen debuted as a member of EXO in 2012.
