BTS Keep The Remixes Coming With Even More New Versions Of New Hit Single ‘Dynamite’ - Forbes

Most artists like to release a new single and let their fans buy and stream it in large quantities, releasing remixes and updated editions of the song in the weeks that follow the original version’s drop. BTS has never been a group that likes to follow what others do, and with their new tune, they’re not wasting any time giving their massive base more to hear, even though some are still just getting used to the initial release.

In just over one week, BTS has released not one, not two, and not even three versions of their new single “Dynamite,” but six different takes on the same smash, with a new pair of cuts arriving just a few hours ago.

At midnight EST on Friday, August 28, BTS released two brand new versions of “Dynamite,” which have been dubbed the Tropical and Poolside remixes. The names suggest that the cut was made to be a summer smash, and now fans have plenty of different takes on the bright and sunny disco-pop tune to choose from as they enjoy the last few days of the season.

“Dynamite,” perhaps the most highly-anticipated single of the year, was released last Friday (August 21) to much fanfare. The insanely catchy, upbeat cut was immediately purchased by countless fans, and millions rushed to streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube to listen and watch what the septet had come up with. At the time the original version of the song dropped, an instrumental was also made available.

Just days after the traditional take launched, BTS delivered both an acoustic version and an EDM remix of the song as well. Almost at once, all four became bestsellers, and all of them racked up millions of plays as well. Now, the band’s new releases have been packaged with the previous releases into a project titled “Dynamite (Deluxe),” which runs almost 20 minutes long between the half-dozen tunes.

All six version of the song appear to be lumped together into one charting entity, so the launch of half a dozen different takes on the same basic pop banger is not just a gift for fans, but also a smart strategy to make “Dynamite” the biggest hit possible on the Billboard rankings.
