Before the returning Apollo Crews and MVP could face-off to declare the WWE's true United States champion, the lights inside the Performance Center began to flicker. The ringside announcers notified fans that the light situation must be technical difficulties, but the lights continued to go on and off during the Apollo/MVP match. All of this chaos appeared to be caused by a new WWE faction.
MVP even complained about the lights during his title match, which ultimately led to him being pinned and defeated by Apollo Crews, crowning him the undisputed U.S. champion. Crews walked away with both belts while MVP complained about the "unsafe working conditions." MVP then challenged Apollo in a rematch for SummerSlam.

The cause of the power failures was finally revealed near the end of Raw when a camera showed five hooded figures throwing a Molotov cocktail at a piece of equipment. The technology burst into flames as the faction celebrated with excitement. WWE announced that a new faction would make its debut on the Aug. 3 edition of Raw earlier in the day. More power issues popped up with Kevin Owens' microphone not working properly during an in-ring promo, and Charly Caruso reporting of boxes being dropped and disturbed backstage.
This new faction currently has five members, with one of the voices appearing to be a woman. Fans will have to keep tuning into Raw for more clues as to this new faction's true identities.
WWE Raw airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network.
