A man named Joey Dean is winning hearts on the internet for a very wholesome post he made on his Twitter page.
He shared two photos. In one, his daughter is dressed in a beautiful yellow gown along with a crown on her head. The outfit gives it away that she is trying to recreate the look of Belle from the story ‘Beauty and the Beast.’
The second photo shows the man himself dressed up in the same gown his size and has clicked a mirror selfie.

The little anecdote is given with the tweet and it is the sweetest one ever. He had gotten the princess costume for his daughter and had asked her if he could come dressed up as the infamous ‘Beast’ in the story. However, to his surprise, she asked him to twin with her instead.
Like the doting dad he was, Dean dressed up as Belle and posted the pictures on the microblogging site. They went viral soon after they were shared. Till now, it has gotten 3500 retweets and 29,300 likes and with the amount of love it is receiving, this is bound to increase.
The reason behind the adulation received is two-fold. The first one is obvious. Father-daughter moments are always cherished through and through and this is another shining example. The second one is quite important. Very rarely we see men who shun stereotypes attached to them, especially in terms of attire. Getting dressed in a princess gown to cheer his daughter up will not reduce his ‘masculinity’ at all.
For these reasons, netizens shared the post extensively. Some of them called him ‘Dad of the Year’ for what he did. “This is the wholesome content we are here for,” one user chimed in.
Many were moved by this little gesture and called it the perfect example of what good parenting looks like. These pictures will definitely be etched in everyone’s minds for a long time to come.
