The Voice: Ariana Grande turns chair for David Vogel while he covers her song Breathin' on NBC show

Ariana Grande turned her chair for contestant David Vogel on Tuesday's episode of The Voice after he bravely sang one of her hit songs.

The 28-year-old pop star was the only judge to turn around for David, 23, of Valhalla, New York, during his performance of Breathin' during the blind auditions on the NBC show.

Ariana told him she loved his take on her song. He said he was in an indie band and added a twist to Ariana's song.

Kelly Clarkson, 39, told him was really smart to take the song and to make it his own.

The coaches continued to stack their teams with talented singers as the blind auditions continued on season 21 of the show.

Holly Forbes, 30, from Kentucky, who blew the judges away when she sang 'Rocket Man' by Elton John, picked Kelly to be her coach at the start of the episode.

Bella DeNapoli, 22, from Long Island, New York, took the stage after Holly made her decision. She said she was from a huge and loud Italian family who love to sing. She sang 'Damage' by Danity Kane. Three of the judges turned around.

Holly chose Ariana who ran up and hugged her.

Janora Brown, 22, from Wingate, North Carolina said she got her love of singing from her mom.

She sang 'Angel of Mine' by Monica. John and Kelly both turned around. John told her that he loved her voice and Kelly told her she could help her round out notes and make her sound more full. She picked John as her coach.

Ariana spent the breaks talking to the audience who kept telling her they loved her.

Kaitlyn Velez, 21, of Long Island, New York, said she grew up watching the show and it was an out of body experience to be on it. She said she started writing songs when she was 14. She said she put out seven songs in the past year.

She sang 'Please Don't Go' by Mike Posner. John turned around for her early. Blake also turned around and told her that he knew he was a songwriter. He told her there was no one like her on his team and that he wanted to be her coach. She chose team Blake.

Blake told the camera he was so happy that Kaitlyn picked him. Kelly said that was 'shocking.'

Berritt Haynes, 19, came out and sang 'Mercy' and told the judges that he was granted a Make a Wish to be on the show. He said his wish was to come and see them. He said when he was eight years old he was diagnosed with a heart disease and that he was happy to be alive.

Blake was the only coach to turn around and landed Berrit on his team.

The country star also gained Clint Sherman who sang Van Morrison's 'Brown Eyed Girl.'

Kayla Lilly, 22, from Quarryville, Pennsylvania, said her mother was a single mom. She said she went to a boarding school and was now in Temple University. She sang 'Never Enough' from The Greatest Showman.'

None of the judges turned around though. John told her she clearly had a beautiful voice but didn't seem to be on solid footing. Kelly told her she wanted her to come back. Kelly said she was just thinking too much.

Maria, 14, and Macy, 15, aka The Cunningham Sisters, from Hamilton, Ohio, performed together. They said they went through bullying growing up. They sang 'Never Alone' and John and Kelly both turned around.

Kelly told them she had been to Ohio. They told them that they started singing in church and John said he did, too. John said he did not have a group on his team and that he would love to be their coach. They picked Kelly to be their coach.

Kelly was shocked and she got up and hugged them both. She took them over to Blake's Win Cam and used it.

The Voice will return next Monday on NBC.
