But, after just one year of marriage, having a baby could shake things up for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Chances are, having a baby won’t strain Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship. But, they might hit a few bumps in the road — especially as the baby grows and they were out their parenting style. Based on their personalities and backgrounds, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might handle certain situations such as discipline and food differently.

Today is #earthday – an opportunity to learn about, celebrate and continue to safeguard our planet, our home. The above, Their Royal Highnesses in Rotorua, New Zealand. Of the 170 different species originally planted in the early 1900’s, only a handful of species, including these majestic Redwoods, remain today. Next, we invite you to scroll through a series of 8 photos taken by The Duke of Sussex©️DOS sharing his environmental POV including: Africa’s Unicorn, the rhino. These magnificent animals have survived ice ages and giant crocodiles, amongst other things! They have adapted to earth’s changing climate continually for over 30 million years. Yet here we are in 2019 where their biggest threat is us. A critical ecosystem, Botswana’s Okavango Delta sustains millions of people and an abundance of wildlife. Huge bush fires, predominantly started by humans, are altering the entire river system; the ash kills the fish as the flood comes in and the trees that don’t burn become next year’s kindling. Desert lions are critically endangered due partly to human wildlife conflict, habitat encroachment and climate change. 96% of mammals on our are either livestock or humans, meaning only 4% remaining are wild animals. Orca and Humpback whale populations are recovering in Norway thanks to the protection of their fisheries. Proof that fishing sustainably can benefit us all. Roughly 3/4 of Guyana is forested, its forests are highly diverse with 1,263 known species of wildlife and 6,409 species of plants. Many countries continue to try and deforest there for the global demand for timber. We all now know the damage plastics are causing to our oceans. Micro plastics are also ending up in our food source, creating not just environmental problems for our planet but medical problems for ourselves too. When a fenced area passes its carrying capacity for elephants, they start to encroach into farmland causing havoc for communities. Here @AfricanParksNetwork relocated 500 Elephants to another park within Malawi to reduce the pressure on human wildlife conflict and create more dispersed tourism. Every one of us can make a difference, not just today but every day. #earthday

Discipline

Discipline might be a hard one for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to see eye-to-eye. The Duke of Sussex is a bit of a softy and while we are certain he will agree with his wife, he might struggle to discipline their children. This might not put a strain on their relationship, but it might be something he and Meghan Markle discuss and might not always agree with.

Food

It’s no secret that Meghan Markle is a healthy eater. Rumor has it, she has even helped Prince Harry clean up his diet since moving in together. But while the Duchess of Sussex might encourage her children to eat their veggies and opt for more healthy and nutritious snacks, Prince Harry might be the one to sneak a little fast food here and there.

According to reports, Prince Harry and Prince William loved McDonald’s growing up and Princess Diana would treat them to the fast food chain every once in a while.

Manners

As a real-life prince, manners are engrained in Prince Harry and they likely matter to Meghan Markle, too. In addition to teaching their children to curtsy and bow, say please and thank you, and all the other musts for young royals (and children in general), they will also teach their children to pick up after themselves, play nicely with each other, and so on.

As a parental unit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will likely agree on everything when it comes to manners. However, they might teach their children in different ways and might not always agree with the other’s methods.

Royal rules

Following the rules of the monarchy is a must in the royal family. However, some believe the Duke and Duchess will take a page out of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s parenting book and ban them at home. Doing so ensures the children grow up in a more normal environment.

However, that doesn’t mean they won’t teach their children certain royal rules. Luckily, Prince Harry is a bit of a rebel and not a fan of the stuffiness of royal life. Because of that, he probably won’t get too caught up in forcing his children to learn and follow every single royal rule — which is a plus for Meghan who is still getting used to the royal rulebook herself.
