I can't believe I'm even writing this, but...Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits 😭💔.

In a statement to People, Miley's rep said, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers."

"They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy," the rep continued.

The couple tied the knot in December 2018, after dating on and off for nearly a decade.

Fans grew suspicious of Miam's relationship status after Miley posted a photo on Instagram without her wedding ring.

But things got really interesting when photos surfaced of her making out with Kaitlynn Carter, Brody Jenner's very recent ex-girlfriend.

She also said, "I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it."

Earlier this year, Liam discussed his marriage with E! and said, "...You know, the husband and wife thing, it's great, I'm loving it. I'm really, really happy and grateful to be in the position that I'm in."

According to TMZ, neither of them have filed for divorce yet, so I'm hoping this separation is just temporary.
