E! News video still
"The Bachelorette" contestant Mike Johnson appears in an E! video still.
Who will be next 'Bachelor?'
Now that Hannah B's season of "The Bachelorette" is over and "Bachelor in Paradise" is back on the air, Bachelor Nation fans want to know: Who will be the next "The Bachelor?" TMZ reports Mike Johnson and Peter Weber are the top contenders, and they're "dead even" for the role. Johnson would be the show's first black male lead, and Weber is best known for his windmill, ahem, "date" with Hannah B. At the same time, Tyler Cameron is the third favorite and may be gaining interest as he was spotted on two dates with model Gigi Hadid this past weekend.
Hannah Brown told ET that she's not bothered by Cameron dating Hadid as she recently called off her engagement and is focused on "working on Hannah and loving Hannah."
"The Bachelor" is expected to announce its next eligible hunk later this year.
ABC casts live 'The Little Mermaid'
ABC has its next live musical lined up: "The Little Mermaid." Billboard reports Auli'i Cravalho, who voiced the lead role in Disney's "Moana," will play Ariel opposite Queen Latifah as Ursula and rapper Shaggy as Sebastian. The live event will air Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. as part of "The Wonderful World of Disney." At the same time, Disney is working on a live-action "The Little Mermaid" movie remake starring Halle Bailey (of Chloe x Halle) as the titular mermaid.
