Elon Musk in 'on-off relationship' with Australian actress Natasha Bassett - after the multi-billionaire's second split from singer Grimes
Business magnate Elon Musk is in an 'on-off' relationship with Australian actress Natasha Bassett, a new report has claimed.
On Saturday, Confidential reported that the pair, who were spotted disembarking Elon's private jet after his plane touched down in Los Angeles last month, have known one another for some time.
'Elon and Natasha have been in an on-again, off-again relationship for a few years,' an alleged source told Confidential.

'I think their relationship is quite tumultuous, especially with him having the same sort of on-again, off-again type of relationship with Grimes.'
The paper goes on to claim Elon and Natasha began dating after meeting on the Los Angeles social scene.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Elon Musk for comment.
The report comes after Grimes confirmed on Twitter on Friday that she had split from Elon for a second time, three months after they welcomed a second child together via surrogate.

The 33-year-old singer confirmed that the couple has called quits on their relationship in a series of tweets about her new cover interview with Vanity Fair, in which she shared the news of their baby's arrival, revealed her daughter's name, Exa Dark Sideræl or 'Y' for short, and described Elon, 50, as her 'boyfriend'.
'Me and E have broken up *again* since the writing of this article,' she wrote in the tweets which were posted approximately four hours after her interview was published online, and which were 'liked' by her ex Elon.
Natasha, 27, grew up in Sydney, and relocated to New York at the age of 19 to attend drama school.

She started acting when she was 14 after landing a lead role in Romeo and Juliet with the Australian Theatre for Young People.
Natasha has since appeared in multiple TV series including Joel and Ethan Coen's 2016 flick Hail! Caesar, which also starred George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson.
Bassett also played Britney Spears in Lifetime's 2017 biopic Britney Ever After.

She is set to appear as Elvis Presley's first girlfriend Dixie Locke in the upcoming movie about his life, Elvis, which stars Austin Butler as the eponymous singer and Tom Hanks as his manager.
The movie, directed by Natasha's fellow Australian Baz Luhrmann, is set to be released on June 24.
The multi-billionaire first revealed he had split from Grimes in September after three years together and just a year after welcoming their now one-year-old son X Æ A-Xii.

Elon confirmed at the time that he and the electronic pop singer, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, plan to co-parent their 1-year-old son, according to Page Six.
'We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms,' Elon said.
The SpaceX and Tesla CEO explained: 'It's mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She's staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.'
