'Indigo': BTS's RM talks about his new album. Here's what he said - Economic Times

Bangtan Boys, popularly known as BTS, has taken over the world with their music.

After J-Hope, RM is the next BTS member to come out with an album this year. The recently released album ‘Indigo’ is fairly different from the J-Hope album that preceded this.

Talking to Variety over a Zoom call, RM opened up about his album and about the future of the band. Indigo has 10 tracks, each belonging to a different genre. RM has collaborated with various artists on eight of his songs.


He has collaborated with Erykah Badu and Anderson. Paak. He has also worked with Korean rock superstar Youjeen on the lead single of the album ‘Wildflower’. When asked about the process of making Indigo, the star told the media outlet that he started working on some songs in 2019. He said before talks of solo careers were initiated, he was almost done with the songs.

Indigo is going to be a summation of RM’s twenties. He is glad that the album is releasing before he is turning 30.

RM is joining the South Korean military service to serve his country, as is the law of the land. When asked, he said he is calm as it is a part of his life.
