BTS' 'Dynamite' Holds Atop Billboard Global Charts, Justin Bieber & Benny Blanco and LiSA New to Top 10 - Billboard

Chart rankings are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts' calculations.

'Dynamite' Tops Global 200, 'Lonely' Launches at No. 5, 'Homura' Flies to No. 8

"Dynamite" by South Korea's BTS adds a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The track reigns with 74.8 million streams (up 1% from a week earlier), the week's top total, and 24,000 downloads sold (up 20%) globally in the week ending Oct. 22.

The next three songs on the Global 200 hold in place: 24kGoldn's "Mood," featuring iann dior, at No. 2, its peak to date; Cardi B's "WAP," featuring Megan Thee Stallion, at No. 3, after three weeks at No. 1; and Internet Money and Gunna's "Lemonade," featuring Don Toliver and NAV, at its No. 4 high.

Justin Bieber and benny blanco's "Lonely" bounds onto the Global 200 at No. 5 with 50.1 million streams and 25,000 downloads sold worldwide in its first week, following its Oct. 16 release.

Elsewhere in the Global 200's top 10, "Homura" by Japan's LiSA vaults from No. 62 to No. 8 following its first full week of availability, with 19.4 million streams and 97,000 downloads sold globally, the latter sum the best in the week ending Oct. 22, as well as the best for any title in a week since the chart launched.

"Homura" was released Oct. 14, two days ahead of the premiere of the anime film, and instant box office hit, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, for which it serves as the theme song.

'Dynamite' No. 1 on Global Excl. U.S. Chart, 'Homura' No. 2

BTS' "Dynamite" rules the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for a fifth collective week, with 63.5 million streams (up 2% from a week earlier) and 15,000 global downloads sold (up 25%) in territories outside the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 22.

Since the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts originated with the tallies dated Sept. 19, "Dynamite" is the only song to have led them simultaneously: this week, last week and first on the Oct. 3-dated surveys.

LiSA's "Homura" leaps 21-2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, with almost all its activity, as noted above, outside the U.S.

24kGoldn's "Mood," dips to No. 3 from its No. 2 Global Excl. U.S. high; Maluma's former one-week No. 1 "Hawái" repeats at No. 4; and Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo's "Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)" slides from its No. 3 peak to No. 5.

Plus, Justin Bieber and benny blanco's "Lonely" enters the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 8.

The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated Oct. 31) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Oct. 27). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service.
