Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. has given its annual Country Radio Seminar convention a makeover in advance of its first-ever virtual edition, the nonprofit trade organization announced today (Oct. 26).
Dubbed CRS 2021: The Virtual Experience, the event will expand from three days to four, offering a slate of virtual panels, workshops, networking events and music showcases from Feb. 16 through Feb. 19, 2021. Notably, the event will feature Luke Bryan as the annual "CRS Artist Interview" sponsored by BMI, during which the country music superstar will discuss his success at country radio and other ventures, as well as a newly-created Streaming Summit on Feb. 16, where streaming industry professionals will speak on best practices for optimizing digital success during the pandemic.
"Now, everybody can come to CRS," said CRB executive director RJ Curtis, adding that for the first time in its history, the event will include entry to its highly-regarded New Faces of Country Music showcase with every ticket. The event will also feature the annual Bob Kingsley's Acoustic Alley showcase in virtual form, plus daily lunchtime performances from labels.
