Min Hee Jin Press Conference: Min Hee-jin denies allegations of accusing BTS of concept copying or requesting their military service | - The Times of India

ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin's press conference on April 25, 2024, provided a platform for her to directly address the ongoing feud with HYBE. Central to the discourse were allegations suggesting that Min Hee Jin accused Bang Si Hyuk, HYBE's founder, of ‘copying’ her in the development of BTS.
In her statement, Min Hee Jin articulated her commitment to ethical and transparent practices in her work. She emphasized, "My goal while working is to be clean and not look for other tricks or methods. I always think of how far I can succeed by doing my job well. As someone who takes on challenges because of curiosity, I find distractions uncomfortable. So, it didn’t make sense to me that there were allegations about usurping management rights", as reported by Koreaboo.
Setting the record straight, Min Hee Jin vehemently denied the purported claims of accusing HYBE of emulating her work with BTS. She categorically refuted any insinuation that BTS had replicated her creative concepts or strategies. According to her, "Everyone who knows me knows that I have stocks and have received things. The things revealed by HYBE are only to their advantage. To me, they are all false. Why are they calculating things like this? It makes no sense. There are too many things like this. I have never said that ‘BTS copied me’".
Min Hee Jin also firmly denied ever suggesting that BTS should enlist in the military, stating, "When did I ever 'ask' BTS to go to the military?" Addressing another controversial topic, she disclosed her interaction with a shaman, clarifying that her curiosity prompted the consultation regarding BTS going to the military. "I was just so curious", she explained. Hee-jin also inquired about planning steps in the scenario where the “company's ace team was going to the military or not”. Her statements come in response to earlier buzz that Min Hee Jin sought advice from a shaman regarding the military enlistment of BTS members.
Expressing bewilderment at HYBE's tactics, Min Hee Jin questioned the motives behind their efforts to paint her in a negative light. She asked, "Rather, I want to ask HYBE. How can they go so far as to do this? I want to ask why are they working so hard to make me into a strange person".
Min Hee Jin also provided insights into her interactions with Bang Si Hyuk, the CEO of HYBE Entertainment, revealing snippets of a KakaoTalk conversation between them. Dated December 2, 2021, the conversation reveals Bang Si Hyuk's initial proposition of collaboration, inviting Min Hee Jin to join HYBE and spearhead the creation of the company's first girl group, evoking comparisons to aespa, SM Entertainment's rising girl group sensation.
