MANILA – Nothing beats going to your favorite artist’s concert. In fact, some are even willing to empty out their pockets and fly over to a different country just to see them. But if we’re being honest, why book a flight for a three-hour concert when you can go to a multi-day music festival featuring not just your favorite but multiple artists you’ve yet to discover?

Wonderfruit

Preparations for Thailand’s biggest art, culture, music, and nature festival begin as early as now. Tickets for Wonderfruit 2024 are capped so keep an eye out before you lose your chance to join the festivities. Ticket sales open twice, one in June and another in Sept., each lasting for 72 hours. Take note, only four tickets can be purchased per person.

Clockenflap

There isn’t much information on Hong Kong’s annual music and arts festival as of yet. But having just featured artists such as Yoasobi, PREP, and Atarashii Gakko! in their 2023 lineup, there’s plenty to be excited about for this year’s edition.

Fuji Rock

The largest outdoor music festival in Japan is coming soon. Tickets open for general sale on May 31 so don’t miss the chance to see Fuji Rock 2024’s impressive lineup featuring the likes of SZA, Peggy Gou, Jax Jones, Raye, and many more.

When: July 26 to 28

Summer Sonic Festival

Just a little over a month after Fuji Rock, Summer Sonic Festival hits Tokyo and Osaka with a stacked lineup featuring Måneskine, OneRepublic, Christina Aguilera, Major Lazer, and Laufey. Not to mention, your favorite K-pop acts such as Ive, NCT Dream, Ateez, Babymonster, and Riize are also set to make a splash.

When: Aug. 17 and 18

Fete de la Musique

For Fete de la Musique Philippines’ 30th anniversary, the French-originated celebration of music kicks off on June 21 at Greenbelt 3 in Makati City, followed by several pocket stages in Poblacion on June 28. For those outside the city, Fete de la Musique is also coming to Baguio, Siargao, El Nido, and Siquijor among others.

LaLaLa Festival

After a five-year absence, Jakarta’s LaLaLa Festival is coming back this August. Its lineup features the likes of Conan Gray, Madison Beer, Bruno Major, and The Temper Trap. Tickets go for as low as ₱3,000 for single-day early entry passes and up to ₱50,000 for three-day VIP group passes.

When: Aug. 23 to 25

We The Fest

Indonesia’s We The Fest is going big for its 10th anniversary with a lineup featuring J Balvin, Joji, Russ, Bibi, and our very own Ylona Garcia.

Waterbomb

Keep in mind, Waterbomb is not only taking place in Seoul but in other Korean cities, too, until August. Additionally, it will also be going to Japan, Bangkok, Singapore, and Dubai. Don’t worry, this won’t be your only chance to see your favorite K-pop acts.

Hydro Manila

Waterbomb may not be coming to the Philippines but we still have Hydro Manila to wash away the summer heat. The one-night festival features international DJ Laidback Luke.

Korea’s biggest electronic dance music festival is coming soon, accompanied by a star-studded lineup. Seoul World DJ Festival features some of EDM’s biggest names from Alan Walker and The Chainsmokers to KSHMR and Gryffin.
